Purpose
This article explains how to create a new branch and assign it within your branch hierarchy using Kamma’s Admin and Identity Management portal.

Before you start
Log in to Kamma’s Admin and Identity Management portal:
https://sso.kammadata.com/You must have permission to manage branches
Steps
Step 1: Open branch management
Click Branches in the left-hand navigation
If you don’t see the Branches link, you don’t have permission to manage branches. Contact your Kamma administrator for access.
Step 2: Create a new branch
A list of your current branches will be displayed, including:
The parent branch you’re assigned to
Any child branches beneath it
Click New Branch
Step 3: Enter branch details
Enter the branch name (mandatory)
Optionally enter a branch description
If you use an internal ID in your CRM or another system, enter it in External ID
To create the branch as part of a hierarchy, select a Parent Branch
Step 4: Create the branch
Click Create
The new branch has been created and is now available in Kamma products.
What happens next
The branch will appear in your branch list immediately
You can now assign users and properties to the new branch
Access and visibility will follow the branch hierarchy you’ve set
