Add a new branch to your organisation in Kamma

Purpose

This article explains how to create a new branch and assign it within your branch hierarchy using Kamma’s Admin and Identity Management portal.

Before you start


Steps

Step 1: Open branch management

  • Click Branches in the left-hand navigation

If you don’t see the Branches link, you don’t have permission to manage branches. Contact your Kamma administrator for access.


Step 2: Create a new branch

  • A list of your current branches will be displayed, including:

    • The parent branch you’re assigned to

    • Any child branches beneath it

  • Click New Branch


Step 3: Enter branch details

  • Enter the branch name (mandatory)

  • Optionally enter a branch description

  • If you use an internal ID in your CRM or another system, enter it in External ID

  • To create the branch as part of a hierarchy, select a Parent Branch


Step 4: Create the branch

  • Click Create

The new branch has been created and is now available in Kamma products.


What happens next

  • The branch will appear in your branch list immediately

  • You can now assign users and properties to the new branch

  • Access and visibility will follow the branch hierarchy you’ve set
