Understand how overdue tasks affect compliance status
What are Compliance Tasks?
Sometimes local authorities grant licences on the condition that work must be completed by specific dates for the property to remain compliant.
Compliance Tasks allow you to:
Track these requirements
Monitor upcoming deadlines
Manage outstanding work against a property
Before you start
Compliance Tasks are available to organisations on Kamma's Pro Tier. Contact us at [email protected] to discuss upgrading.
Steps
Step 1: Open the Compliance Tasks section
Navigate to a Property page in Kamma Suite
Scroll to the Compliance Tasks section
The section is collapsed by default.
Click the heading to expand it
The expanded view will show no tasks until one is added.
Step 2: Add a task
Click Add Task
Complete the form in the pop-up modal that appears
Click Add Task
The pop-up modal will close and the task will appear in the tasks table.
Step 3: Manage the task
Once created, you can manage the task from the table.
Mark a task as completed
Click Mark completed
If completed in error:
You can undo the completion status
Edit a task
Click Edit
Update the task details
Save your changes
Delete a task
Click Delete
Confirm the deletion in the pop-up
The task will be permanently removed.
Add child tasks
Compliance Tasks support nested tasks.
This allows you to:
Create a parent task
Add one or more subtasks beneath it
There are two ways to do this:
Option 1: Select a parent task
When adding a task:
Use the Parent Task dropdown in the Add Task modal
Option 2: Add a child from the table
Click Add child on an existing task
Complete the form in the modal
The new task will appear beneath its parent task.
Task warnings and overdue tasks
Upcoming task warnings
When a task is due within the next month:
A warning will appear in the tasks table
A warning will also appear beneath the licence requirement card near the top of the property page
Overdue tasks
If a task passes its due date:
The property is automatically marked as Non-compliant
The task will display an Overdue warning in the table
The overdue warning will also appear beneath the licence requirement card
This helps ensure required works are completed on time.
