Why can't I see the Add New Property button?

Understand why the Portfolio page's Add New Property button might be hidden or restricted for your account.

Some Kamma Suite accounts don't show the Add New Property button on the Portfolio page, or only show it to branch admins. This is expected for certain accounts and isn't a fault.

Understand button visibility

The Add New Property button lets you manually add a single property to your portfolio from the Portfolio page. For accounts whose portfolio is kept up to date automatically — for example, through an API integration with a property management system — manually adding a property could create a duplicate or conflict with the sync. Kamma can restrict or hide the button for these accounts.

Your account will be set to one of the following:

  • Full access — everyone on the account sees the button (the default for most accounts)

  • Group Admin access — only branch admins see the button; other users won't

  • No access — the button is hidden for everyone on the account, including branch admins


Common questions

I used to see the button — why has it disappeared?
Your account's configuration may have changed, most likely because your portfolio is now synced automatically from another system. Check with your Kamma account manager if you're unsure.

I'm a branch admin but still can't see it — why?
If your account is set to No Access, the button is hidden for everyone, including branch admins.

Can I turn this back on myself?
No — this is configured by Kamma on a per-account basis. Contact your Kamma account manager or Kamma support to request a change.
